Superhero activity was fantastic and everyone loved the practical activities. The hairdressing in particular was very popular and the laptop activity too. The level of work was pitched well and differentiated to meet the needs of all students. The WoW team were really great with the kids and built up good relationships quickly.
I really enjoyed WoW Enterprise because we could make things and learn things we've never learnt about before.
Thank you for the WoW project we received this Year. The results have been outstanding. After speaking to Year 5 about the project the results speak for themselves. We now have 9-10 year olds who have spoken to their families regarding future education and further education as a result of knowing which routes are required to achieve certain grades etc. Not only did it open the pupils eyes as to what is available (the staff were amazed at all the possibilities) but the interview/1:1 session with people in certain professions was worth while. We hope that this is something we can not only continue with on a yearly basis. But also develop ideas alongside yourself as we really see a great impact of the WoW initiative.
I found the WoW Community Links sessions fun and interesting. Witnessing the children growing in confidence as they asked well thought out questions was fabulous. Very worthwhile experience for children and employers and a great way to forge education business links.

WoW Enterprise is a fantastic opportunity for the children to learn entrepreneurial skills whilst applying their literacy and numeracy skills and they looked forward to the sessions each week. All of the children enjoyed getting creative and making their own business. Thank you so much for this opportunity for our children, they've loved every minute of it and can't wait to sell their products next week. I would say WoW was a success for my class.
Good links with the community have a positive impact on provision in the school. The World of Work initiative, when pupils meet people from different occupations, such as doctors, hairdressers and soldiers, is an example of how partnerships with the community benefit the pupils.
Thank you so much for the WoW project, the children thoroughly enjoyed the experience and have gained so much. Through your project, a 10 year old girl has already started working on her future career. In one of your sessions she researched her dream job of athlete, she developed a clear idea of what she needed to do and following the WoW session, she joined an athletics club in Wrexham. She is well on her way to achieving her goal of running middle and long distance for Wales. Once again, thank you so much.
Thanks so much for today's session. Really got the children thinking about their futures and how they can take control of them. I wanted to let you know about some feedback that I had from one of the parents regarding the homework. One mother who has twins in my class has told me how interesting and engaging the homework was. She also said that it was a homework that her children had been excited to complete despite being reluctant usually. She said that she saw it as a really good way to open a conversation about jobs and work .
7B have thoroughly enjoyed their learning about the world of work with Bethan and Sue from the WoW Project. Many thanks for organising these very useful and inspiring workshops for us.
I have enjoyed taking part in WoW Project and I am excited to go to High School. I know that I need to work hard and go to college and university if I want to be an inventor or scientist.
