Hi, my name is Owen and I joined the WoW project in 2018 as I saw the WoW sessions being delivered in a primary school I was working in. I was amazed how the class engaged instantly in the sessions! They were excited to relate it all to their own personal interests. I was also about to embark on my BA QTS teacher training for primary aged children and immediately saw the benefits of joining the WoW team. There’s something about working with children; seeing them collaborate and achieve that has seen me delivering WoW sessions since. Being part of the WoW team has allowed me to further develop my teaching practice between university placements and put what I have learnt into action. Also, by getting into different schools, I have picked up a few fantastic ideas for my own classroom!
