Hi, I’m Meg and I’m 18 years old. I am currently studying my A Levels in sixth form and am planning on studying Psychology in university next year. I have volunteered with WoW Project for the past 4 years. At first, I volunteered behind the scenes, helping to plan and organise events and liaise with the local community and local businesses to involve them in the project. I then began to volunteer in the schools, helping to deliver sessions to a wide range of pupils. Volunteering at WoW Project has helped me to gain confidence and interpersonal skills. I feel fortunate to be able to contribute to young children and young people’s education in this worthwhile project. WoW Project has also inspired me to become an Educational Psychologist in order to help young people who may face challenges to have the best education possible.
