I got involved with WoW after meeting Sue whilst I was volunteering on a mentoring project. Sue informed me about the work that WoW does for young people across North Wales and I was eager to get involved.  After WoW training, I started teaching workshops in April 2019. Working for WoW is a rewarding experience, as I really feel I am having a positive impact on young people’s lives by introducing the idea of future career options to them from a young age; I would have found WoW extremely valuable when I was younger as I was unsure as to what I wanted to do as a career. Seeing the difference in the attitudes of the young people we work with at WoW, from when they’re unsure of what their future could look like, compared to the end of the WoW workshops when they are confident and focussed on their future plans is what makes the experience of working for WoW so rewarding for me.
